The infamous hacker known as TinKode has been sentenced by a Romanian court – receiving a hefty fine and a suspended prison sentence.
Two men have pleaded guilty to their part in a multi-million dollar scheme which saw the point-of-sale computers of hundreds of Subway restaurant stores hacked into, and the details of customers’ payment cards stolen.
It’s ten years since British hacker Gary McKinnon was arrested, and now another hacker has been indicted for allegedly hacking into NASA computers.
Police believe that they may have apprehended the notorious hacker TinKode, who in the past has hacked into government and military websites, exposing their poor security.
Security on the Royal Navy’s website appears to have been compromised by a Romanian hacker, who claims to have broken into the site and exposed passwords.
