I’m afraid you might be out of luck.
As I describe here (https://grahamcluley.com/2015/11/post-hack-talktalk-treats-defrauded-customers-poorly/) you can apply for compensation *if* you have lost money as a result of the hack *and* it was the latest hack (not the other times that TalkTalk was hacked) *and* you didn’t help the fraudsters in any way by giving them additional personal information.
Is this disgusting? Yes.
Is TalkTalk treating its customers like shit? Yes.

TalkTalk and other companies would be wise to remember that trust takes years to build, seconds to lose, and a lifetime to regain (if you’re lucky).
